Make Up Date This Sunday
After much consideration, the staff and management at Mountain Creek Speedway will re-schedule Sunday's rained out event for this Sunday, May, 7th for the Cadet, Beginner Box Stock, Box Stock and Jr. Wing divisions. Rain fell all day Sunday afternoon, forcing track owners and promoters Adam and Rebecca to switch an alternate plan of running the micro sprint and senior classes when a window came clear.
"We need to stick to our schedule as best we can this year," Said, communications director, Derek Pernesiglio. "Last year we scheduled make up races months out with proved to be an inconvenience. This way, we get back on track to our normal schedule or racing throughout the year."
Pit gates will open Sunday at 1pm with practice starting at 3pm. All racing will be covered live on wwwmountaincreekspeedway.tv. When the track isn’t racing, it’s busy Monday through Friday with testing and practice sessions for everything from flat karts to national midgets. The track will also be available for testing and practice days throughout the year.
